English and Literature were always my favorite subjects. I like to say that I have loved writing ever since I was old enough to pick up a pencil. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in journalism from Texas Tech University, and have been writing, editing, and publishing ever since. You may be interested in self-publishing or in traditional publishing (or both, as I am). You may need a lot of editing on your manuscript, or just a little. Either way, we at Jorlan Publishing are here to help you. |

Lana, it's my turn to say WOW! I take back all that rhetoric I spouted a few months ago about editors taking away the author's style. It's obvious when someone wants to take me where they want me to go instead of helping me along the way I have chosen for myself. I think that's the difference between how you edit and how others edit; too many editors try to force their own style, but not you. Your work here is complementary to mine, quite the opposite of other editing I have had done. I know my writing isn't the easiest to edit, but you obviously understand my presentation right along with my tendency to add commas and superfluous jargon. If you can edit me this well, then I wouldn't hesitate to let others know that their style will be in safe hands at Jorlan Publishing! — M.D. Cummings
Lana Jordan smiles a lot! You can feel it in her communications, you can
